McCanns: Morocco photo is Madeleine
Article by Pascal Molliere

Kate and Gerry McCann are confident that the child shown in a tourist’s photo of a group of Moroccans carrying a fair skinned child is their missing daughter Madeleine.

Police have been analysing the image using overlays of hundreds of images of Madeleine supplied by Kate and Gerry.

Advanced facial recognition software and enhancement techniques have been used to sharpen the image.

The digital technique enables images to be enhanced but it also allows the user to apply the same conditions to clearer images of those found on the one they want to enhance. This method is used in satellite imagery to detect changes in military installations and experts say that it is a sure way of matching imagery.

Dozens of images of Madeleine’s face have been overlaid on the one supplied by Spanish tourist Clara Torres, from Albacete. Using the enhancement techniques together with resizing methods and specialist imagery equipment, the image is said to be a perfect match.

The missing girl’s desperate parents called on Interpol to press ahead with an urgent investigation into the photograph.

The McCanns’ official spokesman Clarence Mitchell said: “Gerry and Kate now hope it will be thoroughly analysed and its significance properly assessed.”

Police in North Africa are stepping up their search for Madeleine and house to house inquiries are already underway in Zinat, where the image was originally taken. Kate and Gerry McCann are said to be planning a trip to Morocco in the coming few days in case their child is found.

This is terrible. Such a misleading artcle. In fact I think misleading is too kind - it's just a pack of lies. The 'journalist' even says the image is a perfect match!! Bull! Such irresponsible and potentially damaging reporting.
You need to edit your Article as it is False Reporting

IT has been reported world wide today that this is NOT MADELEINE MCCANN; edit your story or ad a byline; it's false information; and misleading.

Having neen to Morocco it is a melting pot of African,Arab, Bebner, Tuareg, Europeans etc over hndreds of years. The hippy trail in the 60's was big there too and there is a lot of Northern Euopean genes in the populace. All I'm saying is a fair skinned child is not that unusual. Hope they find this person to clarify, hope it is Maddy and she's found quick. At least the child in the pic appears to be being looked after and not stressed.
I call bull* on this one

No way - how is it that Pascal Molliere has scooped sources like Sky News and others to come up with this article?!

Everyone else in the world is 'Cautiously analyzing' the picture whereas Pascal Molliere (the articles author) has found comment that this is definately her.

Bull.

Pascal Molliere is a Photographer / Supplier listed on this sight - probably looking to increase traffic to this website by making over the top claims.

It seems significant that a photo of an African woman carrying a blonde child has been taken, as African children are not blonde. Of course we all hope that the photo provides a link to find Maddy, but in the situation that the blonde child is not Maddy, then investigations into the African types in the photo must still be made. The child is certainly not hers.
