Squeeze, Supergrass and Madness headline at GuilFest 2007 – ‘Glastonbury in the City’

The GuilFest music festival is quickly becoming one of the most respected and much visited events in the country and after a very wet and muddy This year will see huge acts such as Supergrass, Squeeze and none other than Madness appearing on stage and if you appreciate talent, the GuilFest has it all! Set in one of the most tranquil and beautiful areas of the city of The GuilFest event has grown over it’s 16 year history and in more recent years attendances have increased dramatically from what was 1500 people a day in 1991 to the now enormous 21000+ each day attending the gig today. GuilFest is now well established as one of the countries leading music events. There are over 200 acts this year and with prices starting reasonably at £40 a day for adults, £90 weekend, £100 weekend with camping, children aged under 12 go free with a ticket holding adult.. It’s no wonder that GuilFest is the award winning event it is - being voted as “best family festival”. This years other acts include Reggae legend Jimmy Cliff, Dub Kings Uriah Heap, Morcheeba, The Magic Numbers, The Ordinary Boys, Richard Thompson, Saw Doctors... Jools Holland, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Pretenders, Wonderstuff, Lightning Seeds, Stereo MCs, The Stranglers, Kosheen, Gary Numan, Echo And The Bunnymen, Lulu, Daniel Bedingfield, Alabama 3, Nizlopi, Thunder, Hayseed Dixie, The Alarm, The Beta Band, The Damned, Eddie And The Hot Rods, The Hamsters, The Levellers and Ocean Colour Scene.
