Functionpix.com is an online community of freelance writers, photographers and journalists who are available to cover news, events and functions in your local area The Autosport International Show 2008 opens it's doors to the public today at the NEC in Birmingham England. After 2 successful Trade only days, the public will today get access to the worlds latest race cars and see first hand the technology that goes into putting these cars on the track. Over the next 2 days you can expect to see F1 drivers David Coulthard, Jenson Button and Mark Webber at the show and they will be on hand for autographs and to answer questions from the public. Each year F1 racing Magazine brings to the visitors a unique Formula One display, this year being no exception. Ten 2007 F1 cars are on display in full livery. The feature displays the cars in a pit lane all individually parked outside their respective garages, which is a highly effective display and a great photo opportunity for F1 fans. The Force India F1 Team 2008 will Launch its new car at the show. After extensive winter testing, the car will be shown first time to the public. Mitsubishi also displays the new Evolution X. The car features dramatic styling with new cutting edge technology, making the Evo different from its predecessors, and the Autosport show will give the public its first chance to see the car close up.
